1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Connect ("the Service"), provided by Syft Technologies ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Connect is an AI-powered customer support platform that provides unified inbox management, AI-assisted responses, live chat widgets, voice support, and team collaboration tools. The Service is offered on a subscription basis with different plans and usage tiers.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Ensuring your contact information remains current
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Transmit spam, malware, or any harmful or disruptive content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without authorization
- Use the Service to store or process sensitive personal data beyond what is necessary for customer support
5. Subscription & Billing
Connect offers Starter and Growth subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to:
- Pay all fees associated with your chosen plan
- Automatic renewal at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled
- Usage-based charges that apply when exceeding plan limits
- Price changes with 30 days advance notice
6. Data Ownership
You retain all rights to your data. We do not claim ownership of any content you submit to the Service. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. Upon termination, you may request export of your data within 30 days.
7. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to suggest and generate responses. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may not always be correct. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated responses before sending them to customers. We are not liable for any inaccuracies in AI-generated content. You agree that all AI-generated content complies with applicable laws and your company policies before distribution.
8. Data Processing & GDPR
For users subject to GDPR (EU residents):
- Syft Technologies acts as a Data Processor on your behalf
- You retain all rights and responsibilities as the Data Controller
- We process your data only on your documented instructions
- A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available upon request
- You are responsible for obtaining user consent before processing their data through Connect
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to perform maintenance with reasonable advance notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by circumstances beyond our control.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Syft Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service will be revoked. You will have 30 days to export your data. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these terms.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
